Laura Wheatley is a New York–based photographer, writer, and artisan curator working at the intersection of craft, storytelling, and luxury design.
Drawn to the people, places, and processes that make the world more meaningful, her work centers on artisans and creatives preserving time-honored traditions, reimagining established techniques, and bringing thoughtful, original work into the world.
Through photography and writing, Laura documents the hands, stories, and ideas behind exceptional craftsmanship, from the creation of an individual piece to the place it ultimately inhabits. Beyond the lens, she works as an artisan liaison in the luxury interiors and design space, cultivating relationships, curating makers and their work, and overseeing onboarding and content development to connect artisans with new audiences and opportunities.
